It is important that Neighbourhood Plans reflect the views of local people, and that local people have opportunities to contribute views and ideas. Information about the development of the Plan will be shared in both parishes by steering group members, including in the Bletchingdon Village News. We will also use social media, leaflet drops and posters to let people know how they can be involved. This website will include information including meeting minutes so that people can keep up to date.
Once the Neighbourhood Plan is developed, it will be a formal document that must be considered when any future development is proposed in our parishes. It’s therefore important that we develop the Plan properly, to ensure this we are working with Community First Oxfordshire – a community development charity with expertise in developing Neighbourhood Plans.
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group comprises local residents from both parishes. We welcome all ideas and feedback, and any new members are welcome to join at any point.
