The Parish Council is the level of government nearest to the people of Bletchingdon. Above it are Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council. We have a very limited range of functions, but are able to deal with the other Councils to try and get things done in the village.

The Council meetings are held in the Village Hall on the last Wednesday of each month, except for December when there is no meeting and January when we meet earlier in order to finalise the budget. Notice of meetings can be seen on this site or on the Village Hall or Parish Council notice boards.
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings but must seek prior permission by contacting the Clerk or the Chairman if the wish to join in the discussion on any matter. For further details about attendance and/or speaking at a meeting, please click here
